EduPath Expands into Medical Studies: 8 Domains, 302 Courses

For many students, medicine is the first career they consider and the hardest to explore honestly. It is demanding, long, and often chosen for the wrong reasons. Until now, EduPath could guide a student toward computing, design, business or psychology, but not toward the clinic. That gap is closed.

What's new: Medical Studies

Medical Studies launches with 26 courses, mapped the same way as every other EduPath domain. A student's assessment results are matched against these courses, and they see where healthcare fits their interests and strengths.

The goal is not to push more students into medicine. It is to help the right students find it early, and help others see that a related path may suit them better. A student drawn to biology and people, for example, can now compare medical routes side by side with psychology.

The full catalog: 8 domains, 302 courses

The domain counts add up to 309, but the catalog holds 302 unique courses. The difference is courses that fit more than one interest, so students reach them from several directions.

Why it matters for students

Choosing medicine is a multi-year commitment, and a wrong start is costly. EduPath combines personality and interest assessment with market demand, so students see both fit and opportunity before they apply.

With 302 courses across 8 domains, a student interested in healthcare no longer gets a partial picture. They can test medicine against neighbouring fields and make the decision with evidence, not pressure.

What it means for universities and schools

Universities with medical and health programs can now reach prospective students at the moment they are deciding. EduPath connects through API or OAuth2 SSO, so the new domain is available to existing integrations without extra setup.

Schools using EduPath for Grades 9–12 counselling gain a tool for one of the most common conversations counsellors have: "Should I study medicine?" Students arrive at that meeting with a profile, not just a hope.

What's next

Medical Studies is the eighth domain, not the last. We will keep expanding the catalog so every student finds their field represented.
